The Thai National AIDS Foundation (TNAF) was founded in cooperation with organizations of people living with HIV/AIDS, non-governmental organizations, private sector businesses, and governmental organizations.   TNAF aims to support infected and affected people living together in society with HIV/AIDS and to prevent the further spread of HIV/AIDS.   The Foundation operates by coordinating with the aforementioned sectors to raise funds to support operations in all regions of the country.   Funds raised for social projects will go directly to support HIV/AIDS infected people and their families and to prevent the further spread of HIV/AIDS.     Mission   Our overall mission is to raise funds and resources to support HIV/AIDS advocacy, prevention, and care programs of community-based organizations, organizations of people living with HIV/AIDS and non-governmental AIDS organizations.   Objectives   1.      To operate as a national center to raise funds and resources to support non-governmental organizations, people living with HIV/AIDS groups, and community organizations on AIDS. 2.      To operate as a link between governmental organizations, the private sector, community organizations, and people living with HIV/AIDS groups in order to organize funds and other operations concerning HIV/AIDS issues. 3.      To promote and support fund-raising campaigns that will sustain HIV/AIDS programs. 4.      To provide support for academic research in order to directly improve HIV/AIDS programs. 5.      To provide support for monitoring and evaluating the work of non-governmental organizations, people living with HIV/AIDS groups, and community organizations.  This process will lead to the improvement of social policies and to more efficient operations. 6.      To provide support in the dissemination of the work of non-governmental organizations, organizations of people living with HIV/AIDS, and community organizations.                                                      Population Group and area Coverage TNAF works directly with all organizations that affect children, women, the elderly, and populations that are difficult to access such as hill-tribes in all regions of Thailand.     Activities   Raise funds both nationally and internationally for NGOs, people living with HIV/AIDS groups and community organizations concerned with HIV/AIDS prevention and alleviation. Develop a fund proposal and evaluation format for improvement of results and more efficient operations. Coordinate between GOs, NGOs, people living with HIV/AIDS groups, and community organizations concerned with HIV/AIDS prevention and alleviation.
